Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 September 2026 · Effective: 21 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Devesh Singh Verma ("we", "us"), the developer of Roamly, covering your use of the app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

1. Who can use Roamly

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, and not barred from using the app under any applicable law.

2. Your account

3. Your content stays yours

You own the photos, captions and other content you post. Posting does not transfer ownership.

You do grant us a licence to run the service: a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, compress, and display your content, and to distribute it to the other users you have chosen to show it to. That licence exists only so the app can work — so your photo can be stored, thumbnailed, and shown in the feed. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already sitting in routine backups, which are overwritten on their normal schedule.

We will not sell your photos, license them to third parties, use them in advertising, or use them to train machine-learning models.

By posting, you confirm that the content is yours to post, and that sharing it doesn't break anyone else's copyright, privacy or other rights.

4. What you may not post

Roamly is a travel app. Don't post:

5. Reporting content, and what we do about it

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it from within the app, or email devisfuture00@gmail.com with a description and, if you can, a link or screenshot.

We review reports and act on them, normally within 48 hours. Depending on what we find we may remove the content, limit or suspend the account, or ban it permanently. Serious cases — particularly anything involving child safety or a credible threat — are escalated to law enforcement. If your content is removed we will tell you why, and you can reply to that email to appeal.

6. Location and your safety

Posts carry precise coordinates. A public post shows the world where you were, and — if you post from home — where you live. Choose visibility deliberately. We are not responsible for what happens as a result of location information you chose to make public. See the Privacy Policy for how location is handled.

7. Acceptable use of the service

Don't:

8. Third-party services

Roamly uses map tiles and place-name data from OpenStreetMap, sign-in from Google and Apple, and cloud infrastructure from Google Firebase and Supabase. Their own terms apply to those parts, and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.

9. Ending your use

10. Disclaimers

Roamly is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that place names, coordinates and maps will always be accurate — don't rely on them for navigation or in an emergency. We don't guarantee that content stored in the app will never be lost, so keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost profits or lost goodwill arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months or ₹1,000. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where the law forbids that exclusion.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims brought by someone else because of content you posted or because you broke these terms — including reasonable legal costs.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, this clause does not take that right away.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Roamly afterwards means you accept the new terms. If you don't, delete your account.
